Case in point is the 1911 Treaty that saw the Northern Maasai Native Reserve being taken away from the Maasai and they being forced to live in the Southern Maasai Native Reserve. The same culminated to a case in 1913 which the Maasai complained they had been misrepresented in entering in to the 1911 Treaty, however, the Colony won on account of being in power and the obviously the innocence of the Maasai. The case was before a white colonial Judge under colonial courts, set up by colonial rulers brought about by subdued and weak Masai. It had no chance of success and their only hope for redress and correction and reversal of the historical injustice is this Honourable Court.
